I'm cooking with Beer.

I have tried cooking meat with beer. It really taste good. Have you tried Brisket Braised in Beer Recipe?

Do you have a recipe (or at least guidelines) that you can post?  It sounds like it could be good...

You use Beer instead of water?  Can you explain to us how?

just experiment.  that is what I have done.  If you are scared (or in my case, the wife is nervous) just use half beer and half water.

Marinate----  Just use beer and seasoning

Smoke---- use Beer.

Usually doesn't give overwhelming flavor, just enough to make unique and nice.

I haven't tried marinating in beer yet, but I have poured some red wine into the pot with roast beef a while before cooking.

Aside from adding flavour, isn't the theory that the alcohol helps break down the meat and makes it more tender?

Me too I only try wine in cooking meat.  Okay that is more interesting.  I have to try it on our Christmas Recipe.

Do you think it would work to use beer for steaming rice?

I think it would probably make the kitchen smell like a brewery. I'm not saying that would be a bad thing...

nothing wrong with that, althought i'd be eating alone my wife and kids cant stand the smell.

Hello guys believe me cooking with beer makes a different delicious taste.  As I said that I gonna tried it on Christmas, I successfully made it I love the taste of the chicken which I marinate with beer.  Though it has an after taste but still it is delicious.
