American Profile/Steeped In Hops
Here is a little news on hop growing that was in the magazine insert of my Sunday Paper....this is the online link.......I just think it's funny cause thay say a barrel of beer usually has 4 ozs. of hops in it.......... NOT MY BARRELS

Sam Adams has an add campaign that says they you 16oz of hops per barrel while the macro guys only use 4oz. They have coasters in bars and restaraunts that show a picture of the 4oz pile next to the 16oz pile.
Interesting article.
I know people that live the NorthWest, and they laugh at the Sam Adams 4oz commericals.....some of the beers brewed out in hop country have 10-16 oz per 5 gallon batch!.....
