Celebrating with some DeuS

Celebrating with some DeuS

Finally just got a new job, Sales Manager for a local Honda dealership. With the economy/industry this has been no easy feat, so after 3 months of collecting, it is time to get back into the workforce, and I am excited.

So celebration is in order, screw champagne, going with the belgian version: Bosteel's DeuS. I have had their other beers and truly enjoy them, but couldnt justify dropping the $28.99 for a bottle. After reading Michael Jackson's description of it in his latest reissue of great beers of belgium, I made it a point to try it, but had to wait for occasion. Well it is chilling now, and I will pop the cork tonight!

Congrat's on the new job.  I only wish I was in your position.  I've been laid off since Nov, and just found out that I may be out until June or July.  Oh well, extended vacation for me.  I wish you the best of luck with the new job.  I'll have a Hop Wallop in your honor.wink

Congrats Thirsty!  I was out for 3 months total last year.....it sucked bad!  I'll throw back a shot of Glenfiddich for you......

awsome, good for you man.  You do realize that this is going to cut into your brew time greatly don't you?

uhh, dont get me started. looks like I am definitely losing my fridays off, so I am going to need to push brewday to a night, either sat, sun or mon night. however production will not stop, and my commitment to brew once / week wil continue.

Good news - good to see a brewer land on his feet so quickly...hopefully, soon, you will land in your own brewpub!

So as far as the DeuS goes, I highly recommend it to anyone who may have an occasion to celebrate. Serving ice cold is a must, but some neat ginger flavors come out as it warms. The head is creamy like merengue, and it is a nce brut dry. Well worth the $$!

Congrats!  That's great news.  The brew schedule may change, but at least you can now buy brew stuff!

Crap just when I thought I had a chance to catch up to your annual output.

At least I know now that when I am up here in Chelmsford with a late night brew session now we'll be looking up at the same big starrry sky ...sniff sniff.

Oh yeah... Congrats on the new position.
Now if I can only hope to hold onto my position for the rest of the year I'll be happy.

Congrats, man.
