maine represents!
i'm especially proud to live in new england. and there's a sign outside my front door that says "the way life should be". i agree. especially regarding the brew scene. seems the west coast thinks so too.

i agree with the high marks for shipyard's joshua chamberlain pale.there is also a beer advocate article on gritty's as well. and although i've never had their ipa i'm sure it's steellar as all their stuff. big ups maine!
Props to New England........although, I'd have to say the two Shipyards I've had, we're more like Shityard beer......
Love maine beer. And love the maine beer scene. Its a quietly kept secret.
I attend the Maine Brewers fest every year. Been going fo the last 7 years.
Highly recommend it to anyone in NE.
I'll have to check it out sometime........brew fests are almost always a good time...
maybe i'll see ya there brewchez it's already on my calendar as well.
oh and i have to agree. i personally think shipyard is crap as well. but there are a few winners in the bunch. pumpkinhead, export, and chamberlain are all pretty good. and old thumper as well. what was i saying about crap again?
