Almost a pint of Brown Ale....12 oz. bottle.....![]()

I'll be back later today....when I get home, I guess I'll just have to have a beer(or many) to get the pics....that hefe looks so good dartgod...I'm wicked thirsty now.....
Dartgod:
That is an amazingly dark Brown ale... or does the picture not do it justice. I have a brown I made that was almost that dark, I am working on lightening it up some though.
Great looking head on it too.
The glass had some condesation on it. It's really a dark ruby brown color.......maybe I'll get a picture with a light behind it and wipe the sweat off the glass before I click......
so with this thread we should pace ourselves or have a bunch of friends over!!! lol!!!
Well, this is my wheat ale....I love it!!! I guess it has the hazy wheat look.........I couldn;t get any closer, the camera would go out of focus.....

Part of it really is the glass you put the beer in. The lighter, effervescent beers want a narrower glass to retain head. (That head also collapses to about 1/2 cm in a couple minutes)
I'm also REALLY careful about my grain steeping temp. Don't know how much that matters though.

Just brewed a batch of Irish Red Ale.....now I'm relaxing........
