Dog Beer

Why let your best friend stay sober while you have fun? Now you can buy beer for him as well.
Two beers that are being made for dogs (you can drink them too), are Happy Tail Ale and Kwispelbier. Dog beer is made kinda in the same way like human beer, but it does not have hops, carbonation, and alcohol. I know- bummer! But at least your dog will love it.
The base is made from water and malted barley. It is treated with glucosamine and vitamin E. Plus they add natural beef flavor. Woof!
Since all ingredients of this beer are food grade, you can drink it too. But unless you like raw beef, and drink from the dog’s bowl, I’d say leave this beer to Rover. Also, make sure you allot a different fridge shelf to it so that you don’t ‘accidently’ drink it.
If you knew dogs, you’d know that hops are poison for dogs and carbonized drinks bloat them up. Plus they cannot metabolize alcohol, so if by any chance you have been giving beer to your dog, you are bad, bad master.
And the price? It’s pretty much the same as the beer you buy for yourself. But on the positive side, your dog will appreciate it more than the next Barney Gumble. On the downside- since he is always broke, all the rounds will be on you.
You have always had beer with your friends. And yet you always ignored man’s best friend. With these two wonderful beers, now you can enjoy a drink with your real mate.
If you are from U.K., then you know the meaning of “taking the dog for a walk”. If you’re not, let me explain- it means going to the bar for a pint. Many bars are catching the theme and if licensing allows them, there will soon be bars for you and your dog. People generally have dogs so that they can hang around and have fun. So why leave them while going to the bar?
Make sure you buy a treat for your buddy next time- let him have a round of fun too!
