Unusual Beer Flavours

Sometimes creative brewers go overboard when they feel like doing something different. Here I am listing some of the most bizarre beer flavours that will give you proof of creativity in beer industry.

Lindemans’ Tea Beer – This sweet-sour beer smells like iced tea. Drinking this beverage, produced by one of the lambic producers, feels like sipping carbonated Snapple.

Chocolate Donut Beer – Combine earth’s two best things and you will get Chocolate Donut Beer, the two things being, as the name suggests, beer and donuts. Homer Simpson would agree to this. There have been rave reviews about this beer in market. There is often comparison between cheap store donuts and this beverage. The credit goes to Shenandoah Brewery for making this drink.

Crème Brûlée Beer – Pour this thick and dark drink into a glass and see how it contradicts its namesake. Drink it and you get to taste sweet vanilla, burnt caramel and cream. If you want a classic dessert, this beer is for you.

Steak-Flavored Beer – It is for the dogs. Yes, you read it correctly. Man’s most faithful buddy deserves a beer too. Isn’t it? Having this thought in mind some dog lover at Dutch Kwispelbier produced this beef-flavoured beer which is non-alcoholic.

Wostyntje or Mustard Beer – As the name says, this beer is made using mustard seeds which gives this Belgian drink a unique tangy flavour. It makes a perfect combination with hotdog chips from 7-Eleven’s.

Bilk or Milk Beer – Everybody knows milk is good for body. But there are times when you just don’t feel like drinking boring milk and you want a beer. The Japanese have done it! A smart company showed their smartness and invented Bilk. This brew is thirty percent milk. It can be bought only in Japan.

Tomato Beer – Creative minds have invented beer even for the kids. These brewers knew how kids love imitating their parents and so they invented Tomato Beer. Kids want mini cars, they want cell phones and they want beer as well. At least, this is what the producers of Tomato beer figured. This beer is without alcohol and full of Vitamin E. It tastes less like tomato and more like cola. This beer too belongs to Japan.

Pizza Beer – Beer and pizza make a deadly combo. Wouldn’t it have been awesome if these two could be combined? Well, this wish has already been granted. Mamma Mia Pizza named beer invented by Tom Seerfurth has flavours of basil, oregano, garlic and tomato. The only thing missing in this beer is cheese.
