This article is a light beer guide for the health-conscious people out there. You will be delighted to know that there actually are many beers available which are light and taste good too! Not all are like Coors Light that tastes like dirty water. Let’s just face it, Coors Light really does suck!
Now let’s check out what all good options you have.

Is Guinness a light beer? It is a very creamy and dark stout that boasts of having mere 9.9 grams of carbohydrates and only 125 calories. It is a dark colored beer. How can it possibly be, well, light?
Its ABV is 4% which makes it lighter than many light-colored beers. However, it is more filling when compared to regular beers, so you will consume less of it. You will end up saving money, calories, and your face because you will be consuming a real beer. Those who call light beer a girlie drink ought to know this!

Corona Light
Corona is another light beer. It is refreshing, smooth and leaves no aftertaste. By adding dash of lime, you will be all set. This beer is an all-time favorite of weight-watchers as it contains mere 5 grams of carbohydrates and 105 calories. You need to be careful though, because it’s low alcohol content and light taste can make you think that you can consume 10 of them and still be able to dance the samba!

Sleeman Clear
This beer is as light as it can get with just 2.5 grams of carbohydrates and 90 calories. Its ABV is 4%. This too has no aftertaste, has clean finish and makes an easy-drinking lager. Drinking this beer won’t get you too much respect though.

Sam Adams Light
This beer is another favorite. It is malty, thick, nutty and spicy. This beer surely has the best aroma, flavor and body. It has a copper sheen to it, a good change from blonde paleness of other brands.

Sapporo Light
It is a Japanese light beer. It has got hints of fruitiness in it and is nicely carbonated. It leaves an appealing aftertaste. Some drinkers think that it hurts to swallow this one. Well, try it yourself to know if it’s true.
