Bottle conditioned growlers, how to serve?

For my last batch I was able to get my hands on some 32 oz dark brown growler type bottles (Saranac Growler pale ale) and used it for bottling my brew. Now that everything has carbed up (at least the 12 oz bottles have, this is my first use of larger bottles), how should I go about pouring me a glass? I figured I could just pour a glass then screw the cap back on and back into the frig. Then I was concerned with stirring up the sediment, and possibly pouring it into a pitcher in a single pour then pouring out of that. Any suggestions, how do you guys serve growlers that aren't all poured at once?
Thanks

I don't even try a second pour.  You will stir up the sediment and lose carbonation.  Bite the bullet, pour it all, drink it all.  wink  You can invite friends, I could be your friend.  big_smile

Get you some 1 liter mugs and it will solve your problem,,,,, wink

My growlers have grolsch tops, I pour out of them holding the neck (not the handles) to control the flow and that back-bubble which disturbs any sediment... but since I generally use them for large gatherings I don't have much of a problem with it.

I don't loose any appreciable carbonation if there is some left over for a few days, and the sediment re-settles in this time frame.

Thanks for the tips guys. I took the 'sharing' route and poured it into 2 large wheat beer glasses. I headed to my neighbors house where he traded me a pound of farm-raised organic hamburger from his farm! Also found out his boss signed him up for a beer of the month club that gets beer from all over the world. He now has 3 months worth (36 bottles) of it sitting in his basement. Saturday my fiancee will be at work and his wife is out of town so he invited me over for a tasting. This sharing stuff is great! They were right in kindergarten

On the topic of the 32oz growlers...I don't know if you guys have access to as much Mexican and Central American beer as I do here in Los Angeles, but they have some wonderful bottles. Super dark glass, and the right lip for the cheapest capper I could buy. You may want to check out your local liquero for some Tecate or Carta Blanca...the only problem is that you have to drink them.

I have a large mug just for beers that are in large bottles.  I'd say that I'd rather drink it all in one sitting.

Tecate... First beer I ever beer bonged. It will always have a special place in my heart.
