Bottling from a keg?

cmanley542 wrote:

So, when using that method, when you open the bottle does it foam over? Not a huge problem, but do you need a glass ready?

Nope, because it's just like regular bottling.  You are capping on the foam, but after the foam dies down you usually have about an inch of space like you would if usually bottling.  When uncapping the bottle, the carbonation should be the same as when you normally uncap a bottle.

my question is:  can you use one of those gadgets like the Beer Gun  to prime and bottle using co2?

Yeah, i am pretty sure from what I have read that the beer gun is made for bottling carbonated beer, out of a keg. Or you could use the keg as a bttling bucket and prime in there, pressurize it and then use it for rapid bottling. Sweet just like the pros!

Cheers
