bottling with a widget
I have done my research, the widget is a hollow plastic device added to a can or in our case a bottle. Then, a measured amount of liquid nitrogen is added to the bottle just before capping. the pressure from the disolving nitrogen pushes nitrogen rich beer into the widget. Upon open the bottle, releasing the pressure, the widget empties it's contents thus giving the effect of a nitrogen tap. Has anyone tried this at home with reclaimed widgets?
No, to much trouble. buy a guiness bottle, or get a nitro tap, I know it's not what you want to hear, but man that sounds like a hell of alot of work.
