Cleaning Bottles
OH, 6-7 Gal of water mixed with the sanitizer, I should have said
then keep covered and will last a full month, mixed a bit stronger
than the recomened mixture on container of B-brite.
I have been known to let a bottle set with just a little sediment in it. The wife comes to my rescue with a little baking soda, and water, just let it set, and rinse the next day. Hope this helps.

I'm very new to home brewing. What is the best equipment to clean the bottles. I made my first batch and did not rinse the bottles out. So now I have this hardened gunk in the bottom and its taking forever to clean them out with the standard brush I have. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Take a brush and cut the handle off. Then put the brush in a drill and clean.
I always rinse my bottles with hot water after they are empty... The night before i bottle, I set the oven to 300 and set all my bottles to bake of the bacteria. Shut the oven off and leave it closed to cool. Next morning open the door and start filling.
To remove the stains you can sink them in a clean trash can full of diluted bleach water. 10-15 gal cold water and 3/4 cup of bleach. After a day dump and give a nice clean rinse.
