Keg revelation!!!

I have had an upright kegorator for at least 6 years now.  Its great except that the tops of the kegs are like 4 inches from the top of the fridge.  I took the light out several years ago to make more room for the kegs.
Well everytime I want to hook up gas lines or go in with a quick picnic tap dispenser to test a brew out I have to pull the damn keg out to see which post is the IN and which is the OUT.

Well I just had a damn revelation!!!!
All my kegs have dimples in the plastic/rubber handels on the gas side!  Now I just need to reach in the small space feel around for the dimple and bam! put on the friggin connector to the right post.
I have been cursing for years!

I have never seen anyone post this observation.  So please, if EVERYONE in the whole kegging world already knew this but me.... its a damn conspiracy and there will be hell to pay.  The next sound you here will be me kicking in the door to your kegorator and drinking all you beer!

Don't you remember Helen Keller's autobiography had a chapter on keg set up? I did notice these dimples in a new keg I got. but didn't notice they all have them, can't wait to check now. Maintenance to the system tonight anyways, I put a wye adapter and ball valve to add an extra line on sunday, and this morning my gas tank was empty. I am hoping the leak is at the disconnect, I know I should be using oetiker clamps, byt used a hose clamp there and it stripped, thought it was tight, guess not.

Not all my kegs have dimples.  I have different styles of cornys.  Rather than doing the touchy-feely thing with your kegs, why not put a mark on the side of the keg with a marker.

Wild

I always meant to paint the side of the keg or somethng to mark the tap side.  But the best I ideas I never get around to completing.   I guess I just like to torture myself.

Everyone loves cool beer stickers!!! Put a sticker on the tap side. Or just get some colored round dots!

Or labels that say what is in the keg?

Stickers or dots would come off the keg when cleaning it.
I use little stringed tags for my keg IDs.  they are about 1X2 inches.
I fill them out with the beer name, OG, FG, date kegged
