Problem in maintainig Pressure

Last night i check bottles and found there is somethig wrong.
when i try to tighten the bottle ,i smell gases and feel air going out of it .
Please give me some possible suggestion ?

 

what type of bottle?  if it is a glass beer bottle with a clamp down cap, this should not happen.  anything else might have a poor seal.  it is not ideal to use anything with a twist off lid.

 

Are you having this in just one or two bottles or in the whole batch?
Maybe it's just an isolated situation that you didnt get the lids on properly for a couple of them.

Are you using the same bottles you've always used.  Are you trying something new?  Is this your first attemp?

 

Are you talking about a CO2 bottle, from what you described it sounds like a CO2 bottle needing a new fiber washer on the regulator, but maybe you're talking about glass bottles?
