Sanitising corks?
Hi is it necessary to sanitise corks prior to bottling wine? It makes sense (in my mind) to sanitise the corks, and if so how would this be done?

I steam mine for 5-10 minutes. Its a good idea to steam them anyway to get them softer. jsut be careful not to go too long or they can get mushy and basically crumble apart.
