Cider bottled in plastic - why did it smell?
Some time ago I made some cider, and bottled it in plastic bottles. But when we opened the bottles, there was always a bit of a smell from the gas. The cider itself, however, tasted ok.
I heard later that you are supposed to bottle cider in glass only. Why is this?
