steralizing primary

Do I need to sterilize the primary fermenter if I use cambden tabs to sterilize the cider?
How do I go about sterilizing everything else after fermentation?
Thanks,
Scott

Absolutely must sterilize the fermenter.
The campden tablets only kill wild yeast & such in your cider temporarily, allowing your yeast of choice to shine through.
There are plenty of other nasties hiding in the nooks & crannies of your equipment.
If in doubt, sanitize.
Meticulous sanitation is not as necessary after fermentation, since the alcohol will kill most anything.
I use a one-step sanitizer like Star San.

You can't sterilize anything at home for the most part.  Requires the use of equipment and techniques just not practical for the home brewer.

However, you can and should SANITIZE everything prior to adding no fermented apple juice (or anything containing sugar) to your fermenter.

And you don't need to sanitize your fermenter and equipment post the process.  Just clean it really well.  You'll be sanitizing next time you use it.

I disagree with that statement.  You can still have live wild yeasts or stuff floating around in your fermented product whether its beer, cider or wine.  You're just not making a solution with a high enough %alcohol to act as its own sterilizer.
