storing bottled cider
I am about to bottle my first batch of hard cider and was wondering is cider like wine in that I have to store it on its side or can I leave it upright this is a flat cider not sparkling. thanks for your help

You lay bottles on their side so that the cork is submeged in liquid and does not dry out. So if you plan on bottling in wine bottles store them like wine. If you cap them they are fine and probably better stored upright in a cool dark place.
