Time for Primary Cider
I've got a cider going. I'm really astonished at the vigor of the fermentation. How long should it go in the primary? With beer, I usually give it a week or so (until the krausen falls), and then rack to secondary.
There isn't any krausen to speak of with cider. When do I rack to secondary? Is it purely a SG thing, or do I wait for airlock bubbling to slow down/stop? Do I need to worry about autolysis?
