3 gallon corny kegs?
Anyone selling or know where I could buy a cheap, used 3 gallon cornelius keg? These seem to be so hard to come across and I don't really want to pay $100+ for a brand new one. Thanks.
Here in Tucson you can find used ones for about $70. That's about as cheap as I have seen them.
Man, too bad bad they're not as cheap as the 5 gallon cornies I can get around here. I can find a 5 gallon for about $20-30. I guess they're just not as common. I want to set up basic pony keg system with a 3 gallon keg because a 5 won't fit in my beer fridge. I'm getting pretty tired of bottling my beer and I would like to either start brewing 3 gallon batches and keg the whole thing or do a regular 5 gallon batch, keg 3 gallons and bottle the rest. I'll just keep my fingers crossed.
There are several 3 gallon kegs on ebay right now with 3 to 4 days left in the bidding.

odds are you could get abigger used beer fridge that would fit 3-4 5 gallon cornies for the same price you'd pay for one 3 gallon!! time to upgrade I say!

I agree. I have a regular size fridge waiting for me to convert it. I'm just lazy. Due to space in house I might be leaning towards a kegerator size fridge. I already have a 5 gallon corny keg.

I can't vouch for now, but as of a couple of months ago the home brewery had 2.5 gallon used cornies for $60.
just checked their site. 5 gallons are 32 bucks, 2.5 gallons are 60. All are used but have been pressure tested.
good find

Have you considered the Tap a Draft system? I got tired of bottling and got one to try and it works really well. Three large bottles will handle a 5 gallon batch and the bottle with the tap attached slides easily onto a shelf in your fridge.

Hmmm. I've never heard of this before. Sounds about like what I'm looking for. Where do I find out more about this set up?
Most online brewing stores sell them.. try Midwest Supplies or Northern Brewer or google for others. It really is a good choice for those who do not want to bottle but have a hard time creating room for a kegging system .
I googled and it looks pretty interesting and not expensive either. So Bull, you have one of these? Any complaints? Do you think it would fit in a 4.3 cu ft mini fridge?
