Transitional Bottles (black swing-tops)
Last summer (2007) I bought an order of 500 ml swing top bottles. I ordered cobalt blue and got these dark teal/almost black bottles instead. I later learned that the color on these bottles is caused when the manufacturer transitions from blue glass to amber. I got 3 or four different shades over the course of the summer (some more green, some more blue, one case almost pitch black)
I ordered more over the course of the summer, but not as many as I wanted. If anyone else ordered them and hated them, let me know and I will buy them off of you!
The one on the left is the standard cobalt blue. The one on the right is an example of what I am interested in.

For my birthday last week a friend and fellow home brewer gave me a box of 12 blue swing top bottles. Where exactly do you buy these? I really like how distinct they are in color and I want more. I try to bottle my batches all with the same type of bottle so that friends can easily know what beer is in what bottle. My LHBS only sells brown and green.
These are the cheapest ones, but I don't trust their new website so I order them on the phone. They used to have pictures

These are okay too, but their shipping costs are bad and they take forever... The pictures for these are all grouped together under the "bottles" section
