ball vs pin keg

Recently got a few pin lock kegs. They seem to be about 4 gallons.

My question is if it's possible to convert the pin lock connections to ball lock?

Thanks!

I just got 4 pin locks myself, I dont have a pinlock tool yet, so I cant say if the posts are interchangeable, however I can almost guarantee the answer will be no (coke vs pepsi right?)

What I do is have swivel nuts on the end of my gas and bevlines, so I can unscrew a ball lock QD, then screw on a pin lock QD, easy as that.

thanks thirsty.

from what i've been able to gather, some of them are able to be converted, some not. it depends on the thread size for the posts. apparently there are different sizes on the pin lock kegs.

basiclaly for me it turned out to be cheaper in the long run to just buy the connectors for pin locks and have both in my system. don't have the screw on qd's tho, i'll have to switch out lines.

Yes, they can be converted:
