brewmagic by sabco

Well got busy last weekend and put together the BREWMASTER 5000

First pic is of the original sabco unit ...$5500.00 US

Second pic is of my Built frame back from the powder coaters
Third pic is with the gas lines and burners installed....

Just awaiting the s/s swagelok fittings to add too the s/s 1/2" tubing....

s/s kegs are drilled and 1/2" s/s fittings welded in place.
All recirculating and transfer pumps are sitting beside the s/s chillers and 3 piece valves to be used in the final assembly.....Hoping this weekend smile

I am sitting in the corner all jealous and shit.

That is such a great system put Sam Calagione on the map. Are you going with electronics and temp relays?

I hate you big_smile

That's pretty badass.  We're going to need some brew day pics.

SWEEEETTTTT!!!!!!!!

Screw the economic downturn I need beer!!!!

Love it.

That's a mighty purtty system you got there!  What kind of burners did you use to build into the frame?

My, Oh My, Oh, My. cool  I just got my monthly dose of beer porn.  That looks fantastic.

Are you kidding me?!  Wow, don't even know where to begin.  Uh, nice set up?

Wow.....those photobucket links look awesome!!!!

My stupid company has an internet filter on the proxy that prevents anything they deem qustionable from being displayed.  I can't even navigate to photobucket.com.  I guess I'll have to wait until I get home to check it out.  But I'll take everyone else's word that's it's nice.  It sure sounds good.....

Hey Birdman:

What's the cost to you been thus far?
Are you fabricating the stand yourself or did you pay for that too?

Tkx all for the nice comments.
burners are from Grill Mate 72,000 btu, total cost thus far is around $900  plus $350 for the kegs

Breakdown:
$200 -steel for frame
$180 -piping for gas inc valves and fittings
$150 -3 burners
$50   -powder coating >Got a great deal....have orders for 2 more smile
$200 -1/2" Swagelock s/s fittings
$50   -1/2" s/s pipe
$50   -New Gas hose for hookup
$25   - 2 flowjet pumps "ebay"
$00   -site glass tubes >free
----------------------------------------------------------------
$905

Frame was done by myself last weekend (3 full days)

I will be running 2 pumps, 1 for mash recirculating/sparging as sabco unit does, also adding 1 more for wort transfer through a mashmaster chiller III, and final filter before primary....

As for the electronics, looking into them, possibly the same unit sabco uses but it will need to be programmed for what i need/want it to do...... so for now I think it will produce some awsome results as it is

I am doing up the plans and required materials, so if any of you get bored one day and want to get creative
smile

Very nice thanks for the itemized list.

What size steel is the tubing?

Hopfully brew-day pics this weekend smile

Badass man, just plain badass.

Now the flowjet pumps- are they OK for the heat? How are they for priming? Will you need a dump port to get a prime?

Other concern is cleaning, do the pumpheads come apart? Do you plan on running a cleaner and rinse through the whole circuit, or breaking it down?

Can't wait to see the brewday pics. What ya gonna be brewing? I personally would do a DFH clone in honor of Sam Calagione's brewmagic success, but that is just me- I think he produces some of the best beers in the craft ndustry.
