That's longer than Sandlers longest pee....   lol

Sorry, my wife stopped me before I took the reading, I'll have to find some quiet time and do it ha.
So I have my pot with my weldless fittings, a bazooka tube, and getting the Plate chiller soon.  At this rate, I should have a three tier set up in about 5 years, I can't wait. ha

want to get a refracometer have it narrowed down to these 2

http://cgi.ebay.com/Brix-Refractometer- … 7C294%3A25

and

i have never used one so am unsure on what to look for. Or you can post me a link of where to get a good one for a good price.

One of those auctions has ended already, but don't worry.  Those people have a regular Ebay store, so they always sell them.  That's one of the better prices too.  I just got one from Santa.  I think it's the same one, no built in light, but it does have ATC, which should help a bit I think.....

Well I think someone needs to finish a little experiment here. So who's it going to be?

Used my new refracometer today, worked like a charm, boiled to my gravity, and cut a 90 minute boil to a 75 minute boil, so all is fine.  Finished dead bang 1.060 og.

That's awesome man!  I can't wait to use mine and start getting dead on numbers.....I was just going with 90 minutes for an 8 to 6 gallon boil....a few times I had less than 6, others more.  Now as long as I get in an hour for hops, I'll be able to start saving time.....First week in January without heavy snow, and I'm outside fixing my stuff up for another session!...
