Cheap Belgian globe glasses from New Belgium

I am a firm believer the right glassware is critical to enjoying a good beer. Seeing I drink a lot of beer where the aromatics are crucial, I do enjoy my globes! .

They are doing these http://shop.newbelgium.com/store/mercha … ry_Code=GW only for the month of november I think. I just orderedsome, they only allow 1 purchase, so if you want more, have a friend get some!

very cool man, gotta get some of those.  I'm also a firm believer in the right beer glasses, for the right type of beer.  gotta have the pint glasses for my ESB's and amber ale's, and you must, must, must, have the globes for the belgian's.  I brought some nice belgian grand cru to a party a few years ago, and popped the cork on the 750ml bottle, my friend came out with paper cups?  I made him go back and get some wine glasses, what the heck are people thinking?  I don't think the normal drinker knows what kind of effort and waiting goes into making a great belgian beer.

I love fancy glasses, but more for the fun of it. I can drink just about anything from just about anything.

That said, those glasses look great for a wide variety of drinks. Right now I'm loving my free Newcastle glass. Second in line is the Chimay glass, and after that a good old fashioned pint glass does the job.

I couldn't agree more, I have glasses from La Chouffe, Westvleteren, Rochefort, Westmalle, Delirium Tremens, Konigshoven, Orval, Petrus, Achel, Chimay, Ayinger Celebrator, and several domestics. It really does make a difference.
Oh, and I almost forgot, Kwak with the wood stand.

Cool.  My Christmas Present.  Six bucks plus how much shipping?
