Corny keg with Sanke lid?
My company is having our End of year sales meeting in October. I would love to have a beer or 2 on tap for everyone. At one time I saw a corney keg that had a Sanke attachment attached right on the lid. You could still take off the lid like an ordinary corny, but of course you had the Sanke attachment that could be hooked up to any regular keg attachment. Has anyone heard of this? or know where I could get just the lid?
You would want a sixtel with a sanke top. Sabco used to sell them, but their website is not showing them anymore. When using that, you have to break down the sanke ring and pull the dip tube, fill it, and carbonate through a sanke coupler.
I have never seen a sanke keg lid that fits a corny. If you do find one, PLEASE send me 2 of them. You know my address!
The other thing you could do, is just cut the lines off the sanke coupler for the system you are using. Reattach ball lock fittings on the gas and bevlines, then when you are done, reattach and clamp the sanke coupler back on. You will lose about an inch of tubing on each line, like nothing ever even happened. What type of system would you be serving from?
