Does anyone know where to get a keg for this?
I was at home the other day and my dad had a little surprise for me. He found an old beer tap that he... *cough*... borrowed... *cough*... from a... *cough*... friend... *cough*... back in college in the '60s. The dip tube is directly piped to the faucet as one piece with the sealing ring collar around it. It also included a pump. I was just going to use it as a corner decoration in my living room/pub, but I think I've decided to use it as intended and keep it in a refridgerated box in the corner of the living room/pub for real ales.
Does anyone know where you would find a keg for this? Or would a modified sanke keg work with the dip tube removed?
Well, I was in college in the late 60's, early 70's, and don't recognize it. I was already relatively familiar with kegs & their operating procedures. Wonder if there is a "Antique Beer Artifacts" website somewhere?
