Frozen Bottles
Just curious,
Some of my bottles were left outside for about 2 months in the mid-west winter (snow, ice and very cold).
Is it still safe to use these glass bottles?

Personally, I don't see a reason not to. That is I am assuming you gave these bottles a very close inspection for cracks and damage! I have always gotten bottles here in Pa. from my local beer disributor who sells me the 16 oz. returnable bottles for the whopping return price of $1.50 a case. These cases are stacked in the back warehouse in an unheated area and I know I bought bottles that were in below freezing temps. Obviously after careful inspection you will have to wash and sterilize them from sitting around and are not going to bottle your beer into frozen glass for all the obvious reasons. I say go for it, allow them to thaw slowly and get out your eagle eyes and inspect. Sterilize, fill, carbonate, drink......repeat !!!
Good luck, brew on! ![]()
