I wonder how good this works I think i am going to purchase an extra propane tank this year as i ran out once mid brew last year and don't want it to happen again but for 4.00 bucks I'll give this a shot. anyone every tried one of these and if so how accurate are they?
I'll keep you all posted when i test it out.

NIce! I like it.
I have 2 tanks, when I feel I am running low, I hook it to the grill, and replace it with a full one. Then when I am grilling and it gets used up, I can go fill it and it now becomes the "back up" again. Worse case scenario is I have to finish grilling with the tank from my beer burner, but that rarely happens.
On a side note, my buddy used to replace his almost empty tank with his neighbors from his grill.right after a fill. He would watch him go out and light the grill, and after only a couple uses have to go and fill again. When the neighbor was gone, he would go and do it again. They were pretty close friends, after the neighbor moved 15 years later he finally told him what he was doing. HIs wife laughed her ass off- she said he thought he was going nuts!
I do what Thirsty does and rotate out the less full tank to the grill.
It works out pretty well actually, I have never really had a crisis with an empty tank.
Even when I occasionally get both burners fired up at the same time.
I 3rd the tank rotation. This is exactly what I do. It's free and you can be certain that all the propane in each tank is completely used up before a refill or exchange.
I've had a tank run out when brewing - and it was late. 2 tanks is a good way to go ...
