Keg Parkas
So I am a gadget freak. I bought that keg parka from morebeer, felt I really needed to have it. Putting it to the test on Sunday, and wanted to see if anyone has used it before? My kegerator is at 33 deg and my kegs/beer are real cold. However if I parka her up at 8am, and come out of the game at 4pm will I still have cold beer for my post game tailgate? Thinking about swamping it in a bucket of ice just in case, but then I can't sport my nifty gadget. Oh Yeah- Go Pats! Cowboys suck

Hey Thirsty... how'd the parka work out?
It stayed in the garage. I just didn't want to risk warm beer in the afternoon. I dropped the cornie into a tall round rubbermaid I used to use as a mash tun, dropped a couple ice cubes and ice packs in, figured the beer will always be drawing off the bottom so it would stay cold worked great. It kicked on the last beer when we were 10 min from home at about 8pm. (buddy's wife was dding) so I got 13 hours out of it. I will save the parka for colder weather (in the 40s or below), the Pittsburgh game in december will definately work, I have a Umass game in november I am brewing for now, that is only a 7 hour day, that might be my trial run.
