March Pump box
This cost me around $10 and protects my pump from getting wet. BYO had an article on how to build one of these. I simplified it with a variable speed switch I found in my garage.
I cut a hole for the round switch knob in the front compartment and a hole for the extension cord in the back compartment. I cut grooves across the dividers so the yellow door can be snapped shut.
Pretty simple if you can find one of these switches. I don't use it to vary my speed, just on or off.
I plan to build a single tier system with a permanent mount someday, but this works for now.
