Mounting a love controller in a fridge
Does anyone know where I can find a good write up by someone who has mounted and operated a love controller in the door or side of a refrigerator? Got myself a new fridge and controller and would like to make this spiffy!
Are you looking for a write up for mounting, programming, or writing? Or all of the above? Also, what model?
I don't have one of these but I've done some reading about them. Plus I have some ninja google skills.
I found a thread on wiring schematics for various Love controllers but I'm not sure which one you have. Let me know and I'll post it for you. There's a write up I know I've seen before that I'll try and find. I'm not sure if its on a blog of a forum but the person installed Love Controllers in a couple of refrigerators and did a real nice job on it.

Mostly just a mounting guide but all of the above wouldn't hurt either. I remember seeing a good write up a few months ago but couldn't find it again with my Beverly Hills Ninja google skills.

Here's a thread of someone's fermentation cabinets build. The thread isn't really in depth but if you subscribe to Zymurgy he wrote up an article that was published at the beginning of this year on this build. At least it'll show you what he did to mount them in the door.
If it turns out you don't want to mount them in the door of your fridge/freezer, there's a bunch of write ups out there about mounting them in a separate electrical box and then mounting that to the door or side of the unit. Personally I think if you can make it clean and can insulate it, the mounting in the door looks pretty sweet.
And this is a PDF I found on the Dwyer Instruments page. There's also some info on the Cole-Palmer website that may be beneficial. This PDF contains mounting instructions, parameters and descriptions of, a very basic wiring diagram and a little bit of programming instruction. I found someone post a step by step for their programming so I'll see if I can find that again but at the moment I gotta run out of the door and pick up some windows at Home Depot. 10 days late and only 2 of them are wrong! 
sweet thanks fire pit. Pretty much what I want to do that way I'm not toggling the freezer off as well and can use it for hop storage. I'll have to find that zymurgy and see if its a little more detailed.
Hey no problem man. If you wouldn't mind taking a few pictures and writing a little something up for your build I'd appreciate it. When I finally build a fermentation chamber I'm pretty sure I'm going to go with the Love controller.
Will do, however with winter here and my fridges magically staying around 35 it might be a bit before I get to it.
The fridge I plan on using it in is my lagering/conditioning chamber. I have a Johnson controller on the chest freezer that i ferment in, so Im not in a big hurry.
