new brewery
i am currently in the middle of building a new brewery (gathering parts ect ) i will be assembling later this month
and it will be a herms system i have put a lot of thought into my plumbing so i can brew and sanitize with ease
and save time
anyway if you dont mind to look at my plumbing system and throw some ideas on how i can improve will be appreciated

this will be 3 15.5 gallon beer kegs 50 ft. 5/8 o.d copper tube for the hot liquor tank ,same for hard plumbing ,
tons of valves plate chiller ands aerate the wort as is hits the fermenter . unions to remove for dumping mash
cleaning storing when not in use.
the plumbing will be ran so that the valves are in easy reach.and the pump will be the lowest unit as to avoid burning up and loosing prime.
i need to do some research on the construction of the viewing glass . and i wonder if i can put a 15w light bulb under the viewing glass so i can see how clear the wort is as it is cycling through i believe this only affects beer after the hops are boiled .
thanks for the time
Damn sexy schematic. All looks right. You have the option of pump lautering or gravity, are you building a 2 tier system? What type of chiller are you using CFC or plate? Direct firing the MLT?
one tier but the mash tun will be higher for tipping
plate chiller 20 plates
no burner under the mash only the hot liquor tank and brew kettle
