Seeking a Good Propane Burner
Hey all,
Yesterday the Mrs. and I were out shopping and found a 40qt aluminum stock pot for sale at a used restaurant supply shop for only $25! I was stoked, and I brought it home with me. I've been doing partial boils in an aluminum 12qt, and I am happy that I can now move up to full boils. Of course, I have an electric stove and the pot is so bit it can straddle 2 burners. Knowing that it's probably not the safest thing, does anyone have any suggestions for a good propane burner without the pot included? I'm hoping to save some scratch by getting the burner alone. So far I've found a burner at Home Depot by Bayou Classic (sq14) but I'm wondering if I can't go cheaper than $40.00. Any suggestions or advice is much appreciated.
Good Brewing,

I have the SQ14 and am happy with it. I know a handful of other brewers who use it as well. $40, huh? I paid $50 for mine... I just might have to get over to HD and pick up another one to speed up my brewday.
Can't go wrong with a Camp Chef.
they look nice, but I didn't seem them for less than all of the dollars. It's looking like the Bayou is still in the lead. The SQ14 is $50 at HD, I just wanted to see if I could get down to $40 on something like it.
