I think the projects are finally over
Kegerator is complete, focus went onto the brewstand. I took 2 displays out of our showroom and converted the second tier to hold all the equipt, chill plate, oxegenater, pump, water filter and electrical. Wasn't quite enough, we were still using the fridge to hold up the HLT.
We added the 3rd tier last week, which now supports the HLT, added another in line ball valve to control the fly rate at the top of the mash tun, and coated the surfaces w/ leftover FRP board to wipe up spills. The top tier also hinges to vertical when not in use to make room for the mash paddle while mashing.
We couldn't believe how perfect everything matched up- like it was custom made for the mash tun and it fell together.
The 1st tier that holds the boil kettle is on a stainless steel cart, so it can be maneuvered around seperately w/o the use of the top 2 tiers.
Here is a pic during a fly sparge of some bourbon vanilla porter sat night, the ugly guy is my brewpartner Mark. The neighbor and the wives showed up too, pretty fun brew session.
Don't pull our chains!!!!
The projects never end.
What's the next project?
Come on... new manifold, new drip tray collection unit, volume measuring stick, quick disconnects, double burners, hard lined gas line, second pump, 20 gallon kettle, canning line!!!!
An automated meat/heart grinder for the meat beers you FOOL!!!!!
Looks good - I especially like the moose antler in the background!! Got one of them myself to hang in my manroom/bar, when I can finally afford my house.
Nice 'brew shack' or should I say 'BruHaus'?!?!?
Even a fire extinguisher on top of the 'fridge. I wann drink beer there!
I personally like the keg fridge, Wow, is that a 4 or 5 tapper?
You really have a nice set up, way to go!!
