Welcome to your new home Brew Magic!
It finally came! Hope to brew either a Robust Porter or a Cream Ale this weekend. Spent a few hours cycling pbw and rinse through it to get used to it. Man, this thing is sweet.
Very nice... That should help you make a better brew for sure.. And I vote for the Robust Porter, with an extended cold crash/lagering....make it ready for the cooler weather just in time. Or do both!!
Where do you live again?
I am so f-en jealous! I love it man!
Oh man that's sweet! If I were you I'd be calling in sick to work tomorrow so I could pull an all nighter and then brew again tomorrow. ![]()
Top notch!
Be sure to take a few good pics of the first brew day.
I want to see mash-tun stirring, wort filling the kettle, boil, coolling and transfer to fermentor.
Wow, talk about Brew Porn. That is sweet. Have fun. Send Pics.
Does it come with an owner's manual?
I would probably brew three batches a week if it wasn't for fermentation space...oh and my daughter would probably run away.
I live in Logan, Utah and you're more than welcome to come brew if you can make it out here.
It came around eleven on Tuesday. I was just going to come home on lunch unload it and head back to work...needless to say I called my boss and told him I couldn't make it back in, haha.
I'll take tons of pictures on the first brew day and post em here. I'll be the one with a beer in hand and the perma grin! I have a Pilsner in my fermentation freezer so I likely won't brew until next weekend but will probably do another test run with just water this weekend.
It comes with two owners manuals. One for operation of the system and one for the controller.
That is awesome. I looked up their website and its' a pretty penny for one of those things too.Very very nice.

How are you going to chill? Did you get one of Sabco's ChillWizards too?...
Nope, he's going to sit back with a homebrew while the unit does the work and he'll say "I'm chillin like a villin"!
DC
No they want like $900 for one of those! I've had a Therminator for awhile now. So chillin' like a villan is old hat now. Well except last time I brewed a German Pilsner. It was 95 F outside and I couldn't chill it below 60. I should set up the immersion as a prechiller but summers almost over and the chest freezer actually brings it down pretty quick.
Very nice, Andrew. I'm sure this monster will brew you some great beer.
I just built my own brew stand using the dimensions of the Brew Magic as a reference. I won't have the electric controller, but what the hell I've only spent $150 on the whole thing so far! Cheers!
WOW. That is so cool. I am green with envy as well.
