what to upgrade first?

Man I wish it only took me 10 seconds to heat water! I have a pretty kick ass burner, and on brewday I preheat 3.5 gallons on the stove to a boil, then dump that into the rest of my strike water which is waiting in the kettle (usually 6-7 gallons, so 9.5-11 gallons total) it takes usually 35 minutes to bring this up to strike temp.

My choice would be to get burner before nw brew pot. your 5 gallon pot is pretty much the most your stove will attain a boil in and getting a bigger pot won't do you any good if the heat source isn't upgraded as well. My stove is a smooth top and they suck for getting anything over 4 gallons boiling without waiting forever. I did a 3 gallon all grain on my stove but had to use 3 pots and only 2 had a decent boil due to size of burners in stove top. It was a very stressful 3 gallons. It turned out great but I will get a turkey fryer/propane burner before attempting an all grain again. THEN once I get a heat source I like I will look to upgrade to a bigger pot.
