wow, a 30 plate wort chiller for 72$

http://kegcowboy.com/index.php?dispatch … uct_id=201

Just found this Link at kegcowboy.com   a 30 plate wort chiller at WTF

I don't know about that, but it sounds really interesting.

What I find amazing is the site Keg Cowboy.  Its interesting that a site can be totally oblivious to some of us, but others find these things with ease.  I rarely leave the front page of google results.  You have to hit exactly the right keywords to find certain things I guess.

I found it on the homebrew talk site.  I was posting 1n1m3g's information on what happens in a starter.  I forgot what good information that was until I saw even experienced brewers getting it wrong so I thought I would post his reply.
I looked at their ads, and their was keg cowboy, I'd never heard of it before, but they have some cool links.  No deals on kegs, but some cool deals on other stuff.

I just got a 2 Keg draft system from Keg Cowboy. If the quality of it is any indication of the overall quality of their product line, I'd highly recommend them.
Brad is great to deal with too. I had a minor problem and he was on top of it within a day of when I contacted him. The price was right too!

I love my Shiron.  I don't really see how it can be beat.  Brewing is not a race to me.  I get my boiling wort from kettle to primary chilled to whatever I want between 65-75 within 10 minutes.  That time frame works fine for me....

I'm not sure I can trust any Keg supply site anymore.  I tried 2, and both times I got hosed.  I have what I have now and do whatever I can to keep it clean and working.

that's funny you say that about your shirron, because I remember not to long ago someone looking to throw out their plate chiller.

I left my thru-mometer and plate chiller soaking in Star San for two weeks.  Last night, I took them out and realised my mistake....There was dark filmy stuff on both.  I was able to get some of off with a plastic scrubbi, but I have no way to clean, or even see the inside of either piece.  The thru-mometer saya on the side, don't do what I did by storing in sanitizer.  Obviously, I should read the directions, but I figured just hook up a couple hoses and let it flow.....F***!  I think they are both trash, and I'll have to drop down another $125 to replace them...and this before next week when I brew again....

Funny how things change huh? ha ha.  I know you love your plate chiller, as I love mine.  (the plate chiller pump combo cannot be beat for big batches.)  I posted this price, because I couldn't believe how cheap it was, the 20 and 10 plates where even cheaper, the 10 comming in at around 40 bucks I think.

Not me...That's for sure.  I fell in love with that thing after the first use.  I was friggen amazed it worked so well, so fast, and clean up was a snap.  I only hated the fact that I dumped $20 for a stupid backflush kit, which turned out to be just a piece of thick hose with a screw on adapter.  With QDs, that kit is not needed...
