I don't think there's a section here, but how about a link to the AHA page with all of the 2008 BJCP/AHA sacntioned events?....

http://www.beertown.org/homebrewing/cal … vents.aspx

I plan on entering quite a few this year, including some that are in other parts of the country.  If I'm lucky, I'll have my honey porter ready for the AHA homebrew comp.  Deadline for that is April 11th....

Sorry about this guys, I completely forgot to post our competition.  If you have beer ready and hurry, you can beat the deadline of 03/11.  I'm the Master Steward for the GAzHBC here in Phoenix.  Here is a link to our website:

I've seen us take late ones from time to time too, so hurry.  I'll try to be quicker on the posts from now on.

Sorry for the delay but here are the scans of the sheets: <a href="http://s253.photobucket.com/albums/hh70/djgbrewing/?action=view&current=scoreSheet1.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i253.photobucket.com/albums/hh70/djgbrewing/scoreSheet1.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>

Hopefully the scans are legible.

Well, that didn't work like I thought it would hmm Here we go with attempt #2:

Very cool...you should be able to learn quite a bit about your brew based on those comments.  That's just another good reason to enter comps....completely neutral feedback from people who know.

djgbrewing--

Congratulations!  Now we know who placed 2nd and 3rd.  I got a third for my Pils with a 34, and this was also my first contest. smile

Nice job to you!

Thanks for posting your sheets.
I haven't seen those scoresheets before, style wise I mean.  Did the BJCP change the scoresheets recently or are those an old version of sheets?
Does anyone know?

I think my scoresheets were pretty similar to those posted above.....
