60 gallon Consecration Clone Brew Day
To be honest it has never affected the pouring even prior to it falling. I would always check to see if there was a moldy little floaty in there and it always seemed to dissipate when poured. Its funny because everyone loves the beer and its one of my faves but I would always pour it first and let them try it before I would show them an unopened bottle. It was a little embarrassing. Not sure how many people would have tried my moldy beer if they would have seen it first.
OK, time for a little update...
The pellicle that was previously described only happened in a bottle or two and a there was only a bit of a film that started forming in the others but everything cleared up. The bad news is that these bottles never carbonated. The US05 I added at bottling didn't do a thing and I had hoped the brett would have carbonated this over time. Well, its been a year and I'm taking the bull by the horns and I pitched some WLP099 last weekend into the bottles and recorked them. I'll be cracking one open in a few weeks.
