Beers for all seasons
I've been looking for a list of traditional seasonal beers and their time schedule, with little luck. As a beer newbie, I have no idea of what beers are traditionally brewed for what season. Some are pretty obvious; an Oktoberfest is brewed for fall and holiday ales for winter.
What beers are traditionally served during each of the seasons? If I want to plan a brewing schedule for the next year, which recipes would I use for the coming season(s) and when would I start?
I don't think an actual "schedule" exists, but most people prefer to drink lighter beers during the warmer months and the heavier ones during the colder months. Some have to be brewed in advance, Oktoberfest in March, Lagers 2 months before you need them, etc.
