Doing First Brew This Weekend, got pot issues
Prior to going all grain, I used to use straight tap water and never had any problems with sanitization or chlorine. I have done this from both city water and from well water. Looking back, I would probably use bottled now, but I never had a batch turn out poorly. The cool water also helps to cool the wort a bit quicker.
