Fall BKB Community Brew?
I just bought the ingredients to make a second batch of this.... it will actually be the first time I've made the same brew twice. although when I was putting the brew order together at brewmasterswarehouse, it showed the og would be higher than what the recipe on here lists, and a whole lot higher than what I got the first time I made it, since my efficiency was less than the recipe was figured for.
I'll be making a coffe infused sweet stout tonight or tomorrow. recipe says to add coffee to 2ndry. isn't there a risk of contamination if the coffee was cold steeped? could I drain the steeped coffee off the grounds and heat it up to just short of boil before adding to 2ndry to assure no contamination happens? AND how long did people steep the coffee?
