On football sunday... what is your favorite kind of beer to drink?
Though it's late in the season, I was thinking about making the perfect beer for sunday football. I switch it up a lot, but usually the beer of choice is a light ale of some sort.
How about you guys?
I'll prefer our famous local beer namely San Miguel Beer Pilsen. My second choice is the Tiger Beer from Malaysia. I'll surely enjoy myself watching the game.
I usually like lager if I'll be having a few in one sitting as you would watching a football game.
If I've spent some time outside in cooler weather, I tend to prefer a darker brew like Guinness.
Those are nice, but are you dealing with variables such as; nacho's, brats, and cheese... yeah, think about that.
That's a good point, bleedingreen. I wouldn't want to have too many other strong flavours mixed with Guinness.
I'd stick with lager or pilsner if I was having spicy food.
I actually found a nice combination that works for spicy foods: IPA. I was at the local bar, and had just received a plate of spicy chicken wings, when I needed another beer. I opted for a "Hazed & Infused", and to my delight, the flavors were wonderful together.
I have also heard great things about Dos Equis paired with spicy food, but haven't tried that one myself...
