have my grains gone bad?

Comrades:
was cleaing out the fridge. Found uncrushed crystal malt that was exposed to air (placed in a zip lock bag but bag was not closed all the way) and black patent malt that was opened but put in a zip lock bag. Grains are at least 3 years old.  Are they too stale to be of any use?

I have no idea how long grains can last in the fridge but I think 3 years might be too long.  They're cheap enough so I'd toss them and pick up some new grains just to be on the safe side.
