Hop Craziness
Is that the recipe from the "Hop God"? (Mark something-or-other, found in Radical Brewing?)
If it isn't, then that one should get posted as well, I think it ends up clocking in at 412 IBU's or something fun like that ![]()
Could be, I honestly don't know, it wasn't referenced where I got it from.

Yea, but even the big hophead brewers will agree, at a certain point your just adding hops as you can't actually get more than a 100 or so IBUs, but damn do the theoretical values keep climbing higher, ha. Not that I mind, it's all relative!

I think we're heading towards grain additions to hops with the hop craze going like it is.
26 proof ? Wow!!! A pint of that would surely level out my relax factor. No driving on that one! Not on even one. Sounds perfect just before bed with some chips.
dmofot, was your recipe an all grain?

Nope, this particular recipe was an extract with specialty grain recipe. It should be pretty simple to convert into an all grain recipe though if you're looking for one. If you want I can post it in the recipe section. Couple of tips if you decide to go for that high of an alcohol level and are doing all grain - use a less malty base grain, for example, regular pale malt would be better than Maris Otter. With such a high OG, you'll have a high FG, so no need to try and make it any sweeter.
