Hop Suey

Has anyone used this type of hops before? or is it too ghetto.

Never heard of it, what is it?

i saw it in an online store 0.59 cents an ounce. they just describe it as "A blend of a variety of hops"

I think I'll stick with my clearly labelled hop varieties, thanks.  I can't see trusting an entire five-gallon batch of homebrew to some mystery "blend".  Tell me it at least has the AA% listed somewhere lol

That probably means the scraps from weighing out orders, no thanks.

AA% is 6

Well, 6% is the same as most cascade, close to perle, and probably a few others.

But the concept of a mixed variety bothers me too. I would avoid floor scrapings.
