hops
tasted my IPA, checking on carbonation. It's coming along nicely.
One thing I have learned, I've become a real hop head.
It's pretty hoppy, even to a warming point, I love it.
I'm a real hop head alright.
Yeah I've noticed that about a lot of guys. Although, I think it is a misconception that the majority are hop heads. I was buying hops this past summer and every hop the owner recommended was high in AA. I finally asked her "do you know anybody who is NOT a hop head?" She looked stunned. Yes, amazingly enough, I am not whatsoever a hop head. I can take an IPA, but that is my last pick.
It seems, at least where I live, a beer isn't a beer unless it is dark and is extreme death hop. Give me a light beer any day.
But that's the beauty of homebrewing, make what you want!
Well, glad you found something you enjoy. That's what I love about brewing. The other guys suck down their 150 IBU beer, and I get my hefeweizen.
