hops for smaller boil
have hop amounts for 5 gallon boil, but max I can boil is 3 gallon, just use 20% more hop amount (saw that as a general rule of thumb. Or is there an easier way to figure out hop amount from 5 gallon to 3 gallon boil....thanks, using clone recipes, just want it as close as possible to original recipe. thanks
Is this going to be a concentrated boil that you then add 2 gallons of water to for a 5 gallon batch?
yes...it is....found out how to do it...found an online bitterness calculator that I could change boil size...then I would adjust oz of hops until got the same ibu number for the 5 gallon boil...thanks for the reply tho.
