How many times...
I think I only managed to brew 6 times in the past year.
My five-gallon batches tend to last 3-4 months.
After drinking the same beer every night for that long, I actually WANT to buy a variety of beers for a few months.
Then, after a couple months, I get tired of paying exorbitant prices for beer, so I start thinking about brewing again.
By the time I actually get around to it, it's a month or two later.
So, that's about 2 batches a year.

I'm trying to brew twice a month. With family and friends, I need to brew twice a month!

I think I'm at about 10-12 or so for this year. I you count all the times I help my friends brew you could triple that number.
I currently brew about once every 6 weeks. A 5 gal batch lasts about a month. I often have 2 beers on tap at once, though I keep telling myself to do a marathon brew month and get 4 going that I could sustain. Hasn't happened yet though.
So far, one.lol
Hopefully we'll get a couple more by the years wnd.

Congrats on number one.
I just checked my records, I did 14 last year and am on #16 so far this year. I f all goes well I should hit 18 batches. I try to keep a pale and a brown on tap at all times with at least one other available for variety. Keeps the boredom away :lol
I didn't start keeping track until I made brew logs earlier this year. Last time I looked at my logs I had brewed over 130 gallons, but I know I have brewed more than that. I'm aiming for 175 gallons, but who knows whether I will make it that far. I won't brew anything less than 10 gallons, otherwise, it's just a waste of time for me.
As for the earlier statements about the 100 gallon limit, ATF, etc, I echo that. They have WAY bigger things to worry about. On your worst day, you might fine one ATF ass who enforces the limit, but I don't even give it a second thought.
I've even read messages from people in Alabama (I think) where homebrewing is still illegal, yet they do it anyway. So is distilling, but people still do it.
One homebrewer on another web site said he brewed over 300 gallons one year!!
Moral of the story: don't worry about the 100 gallon maximum. I look at it like this: a cop sees you speeding 10 over the limit, but he gets a call about a guy with a gun. Which is more important?
